Director, Writer, Actor
I am a 21-year-old Edinburgh-based director, writer, actor and final year English Literature student. I have directed multiple theatre productions. Most recently I directed Andrew Bovell's 'When The Rain Stops Falling' to critical acclaim. It also won the English Literature Department play of the year award with a prize of £1000. I also have Fringe experience, directing a production of Ella Hickson's 'Eight' at Bedlam Theatre in Edinburgh in 2018.
I have acted extensively over the last four years in a mixture of musical and straight theatre roles. Most notably, I played Ruth in a production of The Pirates of Penzance and Anne in a production of Anne Frank to high praise.
I also work as a theatre reviewer in and around Edinburgh. Most notably I've worked as a full-time reviewer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016, 2017 and 2018. I also study creative writing, with some of my poetry winning awards and being published. Copies of my anthology are available upon request. I am a graduate of the Traverse Young Writer's programme from the latter half of 2018 and study a course called 'Writing for Theatre' alongside writing regularly.
